Meteorites Found in Sri Lanka

This project was completed while I was interning at the Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies in Sri Lanka in 2004 under the supervision of Prof. Chandana Jayaratne.

I was involved with the site inspection of the area the meteorite has fallen to. In the above video, I am holding the meteorite (person in white shirt - wearing gloves), when the news media team captured a video recording for the new telecast.

I was also part of the team performed the chemical analysis of the meteorites recovered.

I was able to present the work to Sir Arthur C. Clark. It was great opportunity to meet the world class author and space enthusiast.
